Diya began her profession in Television and later swung to be a theater performing artist. At first she didn't get enough backing from her family yet subsequent to seeing her fine and restrained work in theater, her family were persuaded. She appeared in Nepali motion picture Kagbeni which was a Bhusan Dahal's introduction film.
Kagbeni got basically awesome reaction from the gathering of people which is viewed as the defining moment of Nepali motion picture into cutting edge days practical stories.
