In the 10th Batch of Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships, 2000 Nepalese students were provided scholarships this year (2015). The scholarship amount is also increased from 500 to 2000 Rupees per month.Congratulations to all scholars!

Nepal SBI bank ltd. has opened bank account for each student and account number is displayed against the name of the student. The selected students are requested to note down their account numbers & visit the nearest branch of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd.in their respective districts to complete the documentation within 15 days from the date of issue of this advertisement, otherwise scholarship will stand cancelled. Recipients of scholarship are required to submit their mark sheets of Class XI within one month of declaration of result to the Education Wing for release of II installment in March 2015.

Embassy of India, Kathmandu announced the result of Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme for 2014-15.
The Embassy of India congratulates the 12th batch of 2000 meritorious students studying in Class XI for this scholarship.
The scholarship amount is NRs.2000/- per month. Nepal SBI bank ltd. has opened bank account for each student and account number is displayed against the name of the student. The selected students are requested to note down their account numbers & visit the nearest branch of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd in their respective districts or call Nepal SBI Branch, Durbar marg, Kathmandu- Tel No. 01-4223195,01-4230809 to complete the documentation within 15 days from the date of issue of this notice.
