UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said a national unity government would resolve the current crisis country was facing.

At a system in Tanahun on Saturday, Dahal said he had been focusing on the need of a national solidarity government since the Great Quake. "The time has come to direct the nation towards improvement through the arrangement of national solidarity government," he said.

Dahal claimed he doesn’t aspire to become the next president or prime minister and had always put national interests before holding key state positions. “I don’t have any personal aspirations. I have learnt from those sweet and bitter experiences of the past. I don’t wish to become PM or president,” he said.

2016, Feb 20 - The Finance Ministry has affirmed the Tourism Ministry's proposition to augment the climbing grants of several mountain climbers who had been compelled to relinquish their campaigns a year ago because of torrential slides on the Himalaya activated by the April 25 seismic tremor. The licenses will be reached out for a long time. 

A year ago, 103 groups comprising of 801 people had gotten licenses to climb different crests in the Himalaya. Among them were 357 mountain dwellers (18 of them Nepalis) who had acquired Everest climbing licenses. 

Authorities of the Department of Tourism said they got the Finance Ministry's approval on Thursday. The Tourism Ministry will now send the proposition to the Cabinet for its last endorsement.

Gyanendra Shrestha, an official at the department, said that the mountaineers, including Everest aspirants, who had abandoned their summit bids last year had been waiting for clearance to make fresh attempts this spring. “Once the proposal is approved by the Cabinet, we expect climbers to start submitting applications to climb the peak again.” A new team of 14 members has applied to the department to climb Everest this spring season.

संसद भवनमा पसेर मधेसी मोर्चाका सांसदले संविधानलाई स्वीकार गरेपछि मधेसमा मोर्चाका नेताहरुविरुद्ध आक्रोश देखिएको हो ।

मोर्चाभित्र तिव्र अन्तरविरोध र फुट देखिएको छ भने मधेसको आन्दोलन अब मोर्चाको नियन्त्रणभन्दा बाहिर जाने संकेतहरु देखिएका छन् ।

संविधानसभामा भोट हालेकै दिन अनिलकुमार झा नेतृत्वको सदभावनाकी सहअध्यक्ष सरिता गिरीले पार्टीबाट राजीनामा दिइसकेकी छिन भने तमलोपाका संसदीय दलका उपनेता बृजेशकुमार गुप्ताले पार्टी अध्यक्ष महन्थ ठाकुरका हातमा राजीनामा थमाएका छन् ।

सोमबार बोलाइएको मधेसी मोर्चाको बैठक राजेन्द्र महतो नेतृत्वको सदभावना पार्टीले बहिस्कार गरेको छ । तर, स्वयं महतोकै पत्नी शैलुकुमारी महतोसमेत संसदको मतदानमा सहभागी भएकी र महतोको स्वीकृतिमै सदभावना पार्टीका नेताहरुले सुशील कोइरालालाई मतदान गरेको मोर्चाका नेता बताउँछन् ।

सोमबारको बैठक सदभावना पार्टीले बहिस्कार गरे पनि मंगलबार राजधानीमा फेरि मोर्चाको बैठक डाकिएको छ

गुप्ता के भन्छन् ?

मधेसी नेताहरुले संसदमा पुगेर मतदान गरेपछि तराई मधेस राष्ट्रिय अभियानका संयोजक जेपी गुप्ताले त्यसलाई गद्दारीको संज्ञा दिएका छन् । मधेसी मोर्चाका चारवटै दल र विजय गच्छदारले मधेस आन्दोलन, मधेसी जनता र मधेसका सहिदहरुलाई धोका दिएको गुप्ताको आरोप छ । संविधानलाई मानेर मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरु राज्यपक्षमा गएको गुप्ताको भनाइ छ । मधेसमा एउटा क्रन्तिकारी पार्टी भइदिएको भए गच्छदार, राजेन्द्र महतोहरुले यस्तो दुस्कार्य गर्न नसक्ने भन्दै गुप्ताले मधेस आन्दोलनका मुद्दा समाप्त नभएको बताएका छन् ।

गच्छदारको पार्टीमा पहिरो

उता फोरम लोकतान्त्रिकका अध्यक्ष विजयकुमार गच्छदार संविधानमा सपथ खाँदै उपप्रधानमन्त्री बनेपछि उनको पार्टीमा पहिरो जान थालेको छ । सोमबारै बारा र पर्साका फोरम लोकतान्त्रिकका नेताहरुले सामुहिक राजीनामा दिएका छन् । राजीनामा दिनेहरुमा  बारा जिल्ला अध्यक्ष ओमप्रकाश चौधरी, पर्सा जिल्ला अध्यक्ष शशी कपूर मियाँ, पूर्वराज्यमन्त्रीद्वय कलावती पासवान र दूर्गादेवी महतोसमेत छन् । त्यस्तै सामुहिक राजीनामा दिनेमा फोरम लोकतान्त्रिकका केन्द्रीय सदस्य कृपासिन्धु चौधरी समेत छन् ।

गच्छदार सरकारमा गएपछि उनको मोर्चा औपचारिकरुपमा फुटेको छ । मोर्चाबाट शरदसिंह भण्डारी लगायत बाहिर निस्किएका छन् ।

मधेसमा गडबडी यथावत

केपी ओली प्रधानमन्त्री बनेकै दिन रौतहटको गौरमा ओली र विजय गच्छदारको पुत्ला जल्यो । पुत्ला जलाउने कार्यक्रममा रादभावना पार्टीका नेता कार्यकर्ता सहभागी थिए ।

प्रधानमन्त्रीले सपथ ग्रहण गरेको दिनमा चाँहि जनकपुरको रामजानकी मन्दिरमा मधेस अधिकार संघर्ष समितिका कार्यकर्ताले केपी ओली, सुशील कोइराला र प्रचण्डका नाममा क्षमा पूजा गरे ।

पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरमा कलाकार मनोज गजुरेलले भारतीय प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीको भेषमा क्षमा पूजा गरेकै जवाफजस्तो देखिने गरी सुशील, केपी र प्रचण्डको अभिनयसहित मधेसी कार्यकर्ताले तीन नेताको क्षमा पूजा गरे । व्यवस्थापिका संसदमा मोर्चाका नेताहरु प्रवेश गरेर संविधानलाई स्वीकार गरे पनि मधेसको बन्द र हडताल पूर्ण रुपमा खुलेको छैन । मोर्चाका नेताहरुले आन्दोलन फिर्ता लिएको घोषणा पनि गरेका छैनन्, तर उनीहरुले आफ्नै कार्यकर्ता र जनताको समर्थन गुमाएका छन् ।

जनकपुरलगायत पूर्वी तराईको जनजीवन अहिले पनि सहज हुन सकिरहेको छैन । तर, मोर्चाका नेताप्रति आन्दालनेकारीको विश्वास गुमेका कारण अब आन्दोलन साम्य हुने अनुमान गरिएको छ ।

साथै दसैंजस्तो चाडबाड आउन लागेकाले बन्द हडताल क्रमशः खुल्ने संकेतहरु देखिएका छन् ।

कसले ‘फसायो’ महन्थ ठाकुर र राजेन्द्र महतोलाई ?

आखिर राज्यपक्षसँग कुनै सहमति नै नगरी मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरु किन व्यवस्थापिका संसदमा भाग लिए ? मधेस आन्दोलनकारीको भाषामा भन्दा आखिर कसले फसायो महन्थ ठाकुर, राजेन्द्र महतोजस्ता नेतालाई ?

सूत्रहरुका अनुसार मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरु संसदमा प्रवेश गर्नुका पछाडि तीनवटा कारण छन्, पहिलो कारण-मतदानमा सहभागी नहुँदा कारवाहीमा परिने र संसद सदस्यता एवं पदै गुम्ने डर । दोस्रो- सुशील कोइरालालाई जितिहाले मन्त्री खान पाइने लोभ । र, तेस्रो भारतीय गुप्तचरका पूर्वप्रमुख एबी माथुर र भारतीय राजदूतले दिएको निर्देशन सूत्रहरुका अनुसार भारतीयहरुको उक्साहटमा लागेका मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरुलाई दूतावासले सुशील कोइरालाका पक्षमा मतदान गर्न रातारात निर्देशन दिएपछि उनीहरु आँखा चिम्लिएर व्यवस्थापिका संसदमा प्रवेश गरेका हुन् ।

सुशील कोइरालाले चुनाव जितेको भए मन्त्री बन्न पाइने आशमा मोर्चाका नेताहरुले कोइरालालाई मतदान गरेको मोर्चाभित्र चर्चा छ ।

अब के होला मधेसमा ?

मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरु बदनाम भएपछि अब मधेसमा के होला ? अब त्यहाँ भारतको पक्षधर मानिने मोर्चाका नेताहरु कमजोर हुने र पश्चिमी राष्ट्रको पक्षधर मानिने सिके राउत मार्का हाबी हुने संकेत देखिएको छ ।

भारतीयहरुकै सल्लाह र निर्देशनमा मोर्चाका नेताहरुले रातारात संविधानलाई स्वीकार गरेपछि अब मधेसमा भारतीय प्रभाव एकाएक कमजोर बन्न् पुगेको छ । भारततर्फ गएर, भारतीय नेताहरुको मेसमा खाना खाँदै मधेस आन्दोलनमा सहयोग लिने राजेन्द्र महतो लगायतका नेताहरुको ‘बिजनेस’ लाई अन्ततः भारतले नै बुमर्‍याङ बनाइदिएको छ ।

केपी ओली प्रधानमन्त्री हुनासाथ भारतीय प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीले ओलीसँग मिलेर अघि बढ्ने इच्छा देखाएका छन् । मोदीले ‘फेरि मधेश हैन, देश’ को नीति लिँदै नेपालका बारेमा ‘कोर्ष करेक्सन’ गर्न खोजेपछि मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरुले बल्ढ्याङ खाएका छन् । घटनाक्रमले देखाइसकेको छ कि अब भारतले महन्थ ठाकुर र राजेन्द्र महतोलाई भन्दा बढी केपी ओली र विजय गच्छदारहरुसँग सहकार्यको प्रयास अगाडि बढाउनेछ ।

तर, यसको प्रतिफलस्वरुप मधेसको आक्रोशित जनमतमा पश्चिमाहरुले चलखेल गर्ने र भारतले छाडिदिएको फिल्डमा विखण्डकारीहरु फस्टाउने खतरा पनि बढेको छ ।

विखण्डनको वकालत गर्दै अाएका डा. सिके राउतले राजेन्द्र महतो लगायतले देखाएको असन्तुष्टि र सरिता गिरी लगायतले दिएको राजीनामालार्इ फेरि मधेसका जनता झुक्याउने अर्को नाटकको संज्ञा दिएका छन् ।

मधेसका चर्चित भनिएका नेताहरु यसरी बदनाम हुनु भनेको अर्को शक्तिलाई मलजल पुर्‍याउनु हो ।

ओली सरकारले मधेसी जनताको हितमा काम गर्‍यो भने त्यहाँ एमाले हावी नहोला भन्न पनि सकिन्न । मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरु बदनाम भएपछि अब मधेसमा राजनीतिक जमिनमा एकप्रकारको ‘भ्याकुम’ देखिएको छ ।

मधेसी मोर्चाका नेताहरु मधेसका जनताप्रति डा. बाबुराम भट्टराईजति पनि इमान्दार नदेखिएको चर्चा सुरु भएको छ यतिबेला मधेसमा ।
